1997 Acura CL

Acura has added a new engine to the CL body for 1997. The engine is a 200 hp 3.0-litre V-6 featuring Honda's Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control or VTEC system. The 3.0 CL model is aimed at luxury-sport coupe buyers. Features such as heated seats and mirrors, and an 8-way power driver's seat help to distinguish the 3.0CL from the 2.2CL.

Updated Models

1997 Acura NSX

Acura upgraded the NSX for 1997. A larger displacement, 3.2l V6 was paired with a 6-speed manual transmission on manual transmission models. For those preferring an automatic transmission, the 3.0l V6 and four-speed automatic are carried over.
