What Changed
The convertible of the VW lineup is split into two models for 1997: the Standard and Highline. Features like ABS, leather interior surfaces, foglamps, alloy wheels, and a cloth top (as opposed to vinyl) differentiate the Highline from the entry level Cabrio. The 4-cylinder engine is updated with new heads for improved fuel delivery.
