A handsome midsize SUV equipped with 4.2L inline 6 or 5.3L V-8, the Trailblazer is Chevy's answer to the Ford Explorer. A Displacement on Demand feature on the 5.3L V-8 runs on 4 cylinders to improve fuel consumption in light load conditions. For 7-passenger capacity, choose the stretched wheelbase Trailblazer EXT. The sporty Trailblazer SS has a 6.0L V-8 in a 2WD or AWD variants. SS-specific features include a lowered, performance-oriented suspension, unique front and rear fascias, and special interior trim. Stabilitrak® vehicle stability control is standard on all Trailblazers. A rear seat DVD video system is also available.

What Changed:

Trailblazer SS model gets a shot of adrenaline in the form of the 6.0L LS2 V-8 from the Corvette. The SS package adds 20-inch alloy wheels, 225/50-R20 V-rated performance tires, and a lowered performance suspension.
