The CX-9 is a large crossover SUV with three rows of seating for up to seven passengers. Introduced in 2007, the CX-9 competes in a vast segment that includes three models from General Motors, the redesigned Ford Explorer, the Honda Pilot and the Toyota Highlander. The flexible interior has standard three row seating and seats that fold flat for cargo hauling. There is ample room in the first two rows, and the third row is more hospitable than some. The standard 3.7l V6 produces 273-bhp, which lags the output of some V6s in the class. The CX-9 is comparable to others in the segment with a fuel-efficiency rating of 16/22 (city/highway) for the AWD model. The CX-9 is a reasonably good bargain with leather-upholstered, AWD models priced from about $34,000. The CX-9 is exclusive to the US market.

What Changed:

The second and third row seats have larger headrests.
