The Avalon is the most luxurious and spacious Toyota sedan offered. Riding on a wheelbase that's almost 2 inches longer than the Camry, the Avalon has increased legroom and interior volume. Like the Camry, the front-wheel-drive Avalon is also offered both V6 and hybrid powertrains. The model range has two basic grades XLE and Limited, starting at about $32,000 for the V6 and $36,000 for the hybrid. Even a base model Avalon is well equipped with alloy wheels and heated leather seats. There are many similarly sized vehicles on the market including the Hyundai Azera, Buick LaCrosse, and Chevrolet Impala.

What Changed:

The Avalon is all-new for 2013. The new model is roughly the same size as the 2012 model but wears more dramatic styling with a wide lower grille and a sweeping c-pillar.
