As the classic American sports car, the Corvette is power and style personified. The Corvette entered its seventh generation for the 2014 model year with all new styling and the return of the Stingray name. Offered in coupe and convertible models, for 2014, the standard powertrain is a 455-bhp 6.2l V8 paired with either a six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmission. Higher performance trim levels like the Z06 will return for the 2015 model year.

What Changed:

A Z06 model is added to the seventh generation Corvette lineup for the 2015 model year. The Z06 equips a supercharged 6.2l V8 engine rated at over 625-bhp and 635 lb-ft of torque. Transmission choices will include a seven speed manual and an eight-speed automatic. The Z06 equips large 285/30R19 tires in the front and 335/25R20 in the rear.
