The 25th EyesOn Design show continued its tradition of placing automotive design significance above rarity and restoration quality. Held on Father's Day at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores near Detroit, this concours is unlike any other. This year special recognition was given for a collection of silver Corvettes and the Ford Model B, or Deuce. Fine examples of Packards and Cadillacs from the 1930s were complemented with a few Lincolns and Buicks. Muscle cars from the 1960s were abundant, as were full-size Chevrolets, Fords, and Plymouths from the same era. Contemporary sport coupes such as the Acura NSX, Toyota Supra, and Lexus LF-A were reminders of superb designs originating from Japan. As an added bonus, classic motorcycles from the last century showed the advances in two-wheeler technology over the decades.
