Audi

The Audi TT and TTS Coupe and Roadster models - known for their striking design and spirited performance - continue for the 2014 Model Year. Now with a single trimline, the TT and TTS continue to define the sports coupe and convertible segments. Coupled with its efficient nature, four-passenger capacity (Coupe), and Audi quattro(R) all-wheel drive, the TT offers spirited performance, exceptional features and everyday drivability.

As was announced when it was first introduced, the top Audi TT performance model, the TT RS - with its exceptional 360 horsepower five-cylinder turbocharged engine, fitted exclusively with a manual gearbox - will not be available for the 2014 Model Year.

Performance

Known for its incredible performance and efficiency, the 2014 Audi TT Coupe and Roadster are powered by the award-winning 2.0-liter TFSI(R) turbocharged and direct-injected, four cylinder engine. This motor also combines Audi valvelift system and variable valve timing. The TT Coupe and Roadster produce 211 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque and propel from 0-60 MPH in 5.3 seconds and 5.6 seconds respectively.

The high-performance Audi TTS Coupe and Roadster - also powered by the 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged and direct-injected, four cylinder engine - achieves 265 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The TTS Coupe seamlessly launches from 0-60 MPH in 4.9 seconds, while the Roadster completes the sprint in 5.1 seconds.

All TT and TTS models are fitted with a six-speed S tronic(R) dual-clutch automatic transmission - a revolutionary direct shift gearbox that blends the user-friendliness of an automatic with the performance of a manual - and both models come standard with Audi quattro(R) all-wheel drive for superior traction and handling.

For the 2014 Model Year, the S line(R) Competition, now also available on the TT Roadsters, will include new Gray-painted brake calipers.

Audi magnetic ride is standard on the TTS Coupe and TTS Roadster; instead of conventional damper oil, the shocks are filled with a special fluid, where viscosity can be controlled by an electromagnetic field. Audi magnetic ride suspension harnesses the fluid's electromagnetic properties to help deliver the appropriate damping forces. Audi magnetic ride operates in normal or sport mode for a more agile and sporty driving experience.

The TT and TTS are built with the ASF(R) construction, a high-strength aluminum frame structure into which the panels are integrated so that they also perform a load-bearing function. The aluminum body is characterized by exceptional stiffness and substantially lower weight for better performance, efficiency and handling.

Exterior

The Audi TT and TTS classic Coupes and open-air Roadsters are known for their iconic, bold design and unmistakable shape. With eye-catching touches - like Xenon plus headlights and LED daytime running lights, and an adaptive rear spoiler in the back that automatically deploys and retracts based on vehicle speed, and can also be controlled on command - the TT and TTS make a striking visual statement with the top up or down.

For the 2014 Model Year, the TT Coupe and Roadster now come standard with an S line exterior, including an S line specific Audi Singleframe(R) grille, S line front and rear bumpers, rocker panels, and door sills.

The Audi exclusive carbon package with front splitter and rear diffuser is now available on the TT.

2014 TTS models are now available with a new Black Optic package, which includes the Audi Singleframe(R) grille in gloss-black with matte black inserts; fog light surround in matte black; carbon fiber optic exterior mirror housing; and a new 19-inch 15-spoke wheel in Titanium finish. A new Panther Black crystal effect exterior is available on the TTS.

TTS models now also include Audi adaptive headlights, which help improve visibility by lighting up corners and bends more effectively.

Interior

Inside, the Audi TT and TTS - with sporty flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel, 12-way power seats, driver-oriented cockpit, and modern amenities - exude character, sophistication and impeccable craftsmanship.

For the 2014 Model Year, TT and TTS models will now come standard with all the equipment offered in the 2013 Premium plus model, including unmistakably Audi LED interior lighting and the premium BOSE(R) sound system. Tailored specifically to the TT vehicle interior, the twelvespeaker 255-watt BOSE sound system is further enhanced by the AudioPilot(R) noise compensation feature, which adjusts volume in response to unwanted road noise, to help enhance the listening experience.

TTS models now include heated front seats and a new optional Black Optic package that includes Phantom Black interior inlays.

Also new for 2014, TTS bi-color Audi exclusive Fine Nappa packages are further enhanced with color leather - Crimson or Titanium - on the flat-portion of the steering wheel.

All color Fine Nappa leather options now have a Black leather center console while the Madras Brown Baseball seats retain a Madras Brown center console. The Enhanced leather package for 2014 - with instrument cluster cover, door armrest and armrest, and handbrake cover - is now standard on both models.

Technology and driver assistance

For the 2014 Model Year, the Navigation package has been upgraded to include Audi parking system with rear acoustic sensors, as well as the Audi Music Interface (AMI). The available DVD-based Audi Navigation plus system features a full-color 6.5-inch LCD screen and MMI(R) control logic for AM/FM and SiriusXM Radio(R), real-time traffic, AMI in the glove box and two SD(R) card slots for MP3 music.
