What Changed
Hummer is offered in 2 and 4-passenger hard-top, 4-passenger open top, and 4-passenger wagon configurations. The 6.5-liter turbo-diesel is upgraded to 195hp and 430 lb-ft of torque for 1997. A new insulation package reduces wind noise in the interior by 4.2 DbA at top highway speeds.
