The RSX has been one of the best performance values in the compact sport coupe segment. The 2.0L I-4 in the Type-S model redlines at a stratospheric 8100 and produces more power than many V-6 engines. The standard RSX 2.0L is tuned for more midrange torque. A 6-speed manual extracts the most performance from the high-winding VTEC motor in the Type-S. A 5-speed automatic is available only on the base model RSX.
Updated front and rear styling. Camshaft, intake and exhaust changes result in 10 more hp for the Type S.
