The F-Series trucks have a model for every niche. The Super Duty series are for serious hauling and towing. Cargo bed sizes include 6.75 ft. and 8 ft. lengths in standard and Styleside (4 x 2 only) configurations. There are 5 different wheelbase lengths. Powertrain choices include a 5.4L Triton® V-8, a 6.8L Triton® V-10, and a popular Power Stroke® turbodiesel 6.0L V-8. The turbodiesel is preferred for fuel economy and its tremendous torque, which provides increased towing capacity. All engines are equipped with a standard 6-speed manual or an optional Torqshift 5-speed automatic.
