The Fairlane shows one possible direction a sport wagon based on Ford's new CD3 (Fusion, Zephyr) platform could go. The Fairlane has three rows of seating with two bucket seats in each row. The greenhouse is upright with flush glass surrounding the passenger cabin. The roof is also glass but is finished at the edges with a canvas cloth material. The rear tailgate opens left or right and features a built-in food preparation area. The AWD Fairlane is powered by Ford's Duratec 30 V6.
