The Mustang coupe is all-new for 2005. The wheelbase is 6-inches longer. Power is supplied to the rear wheels by either a 200hp V6 in the base model or a 300hp V8 in the GT model. The Mustang also retains its solid rear axle. The GT will be the sole Mustang performance model until the Cobra returns on its new platform. At 20k for the V6 coupe and $25k for the 300hp GT, the Mustang is a solid bargain.
