As Nissan's entry-level sedan, the Sentra not been redesigned since the 2000 model year. To compensate, Nissan has equipped the Sentra to provide great value for money. A standard 1.8L inline-4, coupled to a 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual, powers the base models. Rockford-Fosgate(R) supplies an optional 300-watt 6-disc CD audio system. Enthusiasts will lust after the SE-R Spec-V, with its 175-bhp 2.5L motor, standard 6-speed manual, and a helical limited-slip differential. Brembo(R) front brakes are optional on the Spec-V.
