The practical Tundra Access Cab features reverse-opening doors for the rear passenger compartment, and a shorter cargo bed than the Tundra Regular Cab. Tundra Access Cabs include an optional Stepside cargo bed. A standard 236-bhp 4.0L V-6 (2WD only) can be replaced with the 271-bhp 4.7L V-8 (2WD and 4WD). Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual (2WD V-6) or a 5-speed automatic (V-6 and V-8). All Tundras have standard skid plates. Properly equipped, the Access Cab can haul up to 1,790 lbs., and tow up to 7,100 lbs. Available option packages include: V8 Towing Package (Class 4 towing hitch receiver, heavy-duty alternator, transmission oil cooler), TRD Off-Road Package (off-road suspension, Bilstein® shock absorbers, 16-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps), and a TRD Sport Package (Tokico® shock absorbers, limited-slip differential, rear stabilizer bar, 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps), and DVD navigation.
