The 3-Series has long been the standard-bearer in what may be the most competitive segment in the industry. This entry level BMW offers an impressive combination of styling, performance, and luxury features for a German vehicle. The fifth-generation 3-series has grown significantly in length and width yet retains the agility and balance for which it is known. Offered with RWD and AWD, the 328i/328xi wagon is available with only the new 230-bhp inline-six. Buyers can choose a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Starting at around $35,000, the 3-Series wagon offers all the style and amenities of the sedan, with an extra dose of utility in the back.
The RWD model returns. Updates to the powertrain change the model designations to 328i and 328xi. Power increases to 230-bhp for the 3.0L inline-six.
