Buick is using the Lucerne full-size sedan to attract younger buyers. The Lucerne replaces the popular and long-lived LeSabre sedan. An optional V-8 makes its first appearance in a Buick since the Roadmaster of the mid-90s. The Lucerne features contemporary styling that manages to be conservative, without appearing to be stodgy. The Lucerne is built alongside the Cadillac DTS in Hamtramck, MI.
