Although portrayed as a segment busting vehicle, the SRX is basically a tall wagon variant of the platform found under the CTS and STS sedans. Offered in V6 and V8 models with either RWD or AWD the SRX features seating for up to 7 passengers. A dual sunroof system makes the ride more enjoyable for rear-seat passengers. Recent price reductions have brought the MSRP more in-line with the SUV competition.
Updated interior features a new instrument panel, console, center stack, and steering wheel. Upper trim level appointments are now hand fashioned. A new six-speed automatic becomes standard for V8 models.
