A loyal customer base eagerly anticipates each new Ferrari, and the 599 GTB Fiorano should not disappoint. With a more aggressive exterior design by Pininfarina, and a 620-bhp 6.0L V-12, the new Fiorano will make current Maranello owners envious. Ferrari claims that the 599 GTB will accelerate from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds and 0-200 km/h (124 mph) in 11.0 seconds. Top speed exceeds 205 mph. In typical Ferrari fashion, there are incremental enhancements to the F1 gearbox (100 ms shorter gear changes), vehicle dynamic control (20% improved acceleration exiting curves), and increased downforce at higher speeds. A steering wheel-mounted "manettino" switch controls all aspects of the Fiorano's performance and handling settings. Options include CCM (Carbon Ceramic Material) brakes, carbon-fiber steering wheel and trim, navigation system, or other unique enhancement tailored to each owner's desires.

What Changed:

The replacement for the 575M Maranello is the ultimate Ferrari GT. A 620-bhp V-12, which displaces 6.0L is descended from the engine in the Enzo. Ferrari developed an updated F1 gearbox called F1 SuperFast, which can shift in 100 ms. Suspension enhancements include an electronically controlled damping system. The 599 GTB Fiorano has an aluminum chassis for lighter weight compared to the 575M.
