2007 Mercedes-Benz CLK-class

It is clear that Mercedes-Benz intends to add AMG-badged models to every model line. The latest entrants are the AMG CLK63 coupe and convertible (oddly, the US gets the convertible version only). These AMG models get a 6.3L V-8 engine that produces a stunning 481-bhp and 630 N-m (465 lb.-ft.) of torque. Mercedes-Benz claims that the CLK63 is the most powerful car in its class. All the horsepower goes to the rear wheels via the paddle-shifter AMG SPEEDSHIFT 7G-TRONIC 7-speed automatic. As expected, a sport suspension, 18-inch alloy wheels, and composite front brakes keep the CLK63 under control. Interior upgrades include an AMG steering wheel, sports seats, and Nappa leather upholstery.
