The latest Tundra is fair warning to GM and Ford that Toyota means to grab a chunk of the full-size pickup market. Toyota offers a choice of a 271-bhp 4.7L V-8 or a 5.7L V-8 with 381-bhp and 401 lb.-ft. torque. The 4.7L engine is coupled to a 5-speed automatic, while the 5.7L gets a new 6-speed automatic. Standard 18-inch steel or alloy wheels can be replaced with optional 20-inch alloy wheels. Towing capacity is 10,400 lbs (2WD) or 10,100 lbs. (4WD). CrewMax models are available only with a 66.7" short bed.
