The Ford Mustang is instantly recognizable as an American icon. This latest iteration emulates the classic styling of the Mustangs from the late 1960's. Engine choices include a 4.0L V-6 or 4.6L V-8, combined with a 5-speed manual or automatic. All Mustangs share a solid rear axle just like their classic predecessors. The Mustang GT offers a unique combination of power, style, and value that is unmatched in its segment. ABS and traction control are standard on the GT. Options include 18-inch alloy wheels, and Shaker 500 audio system. Bridging gap to the ultimate factory performance Mustang, the Shelby GT500 is the Shelby GT package. The Shelby GT package adds Ford Racing performance and handling packages.

What Changed:

The Mustang coupe adds a glass roof option for V6 and GT Premium models. The roof is a $1995 option. The Mustang celebrates its 45th anniversary. A second run of 3000 Bullitt Mustangs is planned.
