Chrysler has methodically improved their popular minivans to ensure that they remain competitive with their Honda and Toyota alternatives. All Grand Caravan models have a 3.6l V-6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission, which has greatly simplified the model lineup. The model lineup ranges from the value-oriented Express model to a new R/T sport model. All models now equip Stow 'n Go seats. A healthy list of options includes leather seats, an entertainment package with a single 9-inch second row TV screen, and a MOPAR appearance package.
The biggest change for the 2011 Grand Caravan is under the hood. An all-new 3.6l V6 engine replaces all three of the engine choices in previous models. This simplifies the lineup to just four models. Visible changes to the Grand Caravan include new front and rear fascias. The interior has new instrument panel and center console unit. Stow 'n Go seats are now standard on all models eliminating the swiveling second row option.
