The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is a small entry-level crossover. The Outlander Sport is a shorter version of the Outlander SUV paired with Mitsubishi's smaller 2.0l four cylinder engine. Mitsubishi offers the Outlander Sport in both FWD and AWD models with a CVT transmission standard on all but the base model. Offered in just two trim levels, the Outlander Sport is priced from $19,000 for the ES model to over $23,000 for an AWD SE model. The SE is well equipped with HID lights, alloy wheels and heated cloth seats. At that price, the Outlander Sport faces fierce competition from established best sellers like the Honda CR-V, Subaru Forester in addition to stylish new models from Hyundai and Kia.
The Outlander Sport is a new smaller crossover that rides on the Outlander platform. A 2.0l four-cylinder engine is standard and CVT is included on all but the base model. All-wheel-drive is only available on the top model.
