Toyota has taken off the gloves with the latest Tundra. Aimed at the heart of the full-size pickup market, the Tundra is as big as any of its competitors from Ford, GM, or Nissan. Properly equipped, it can tow up to 10,000 lbs. Disc brakes at all four wheels (with front 4-piston calipers) are standard. Most Tundra models begin with a base grade. Buyers can opt to equip the base truck with a Work Truck package with vinyl seats and rubber floors, but for most the SR5 package on the regular cab adds basic power equipment, cloth seats and carpet. Tundra Double Cab and Crew Cab models are also available in the Limited grade with leather seats and additional equipment. There are numerous option packages which add additional luxury features, towing capabilities or off-road abilities.
