Through eight generations, the Honda Accord has routinely provided a good mix of value, fuel economy and good driving dynamics. Buyers have made the Accord a perennial top seller and the quality of the car is reflected in its high residual and resale value. Although most people think of the sedan, the Accord is also available in a stylish coupe. Coupes in this segment are rare. The closest competitors to the Accord coupe are the Hyundai Genesis coupe and Nissan Altima coupe. The Accord is offered in several trim levels with either a fuel-efficient four-cylinder or V6 engine. Unlike the sedan, coupe models offer manual transmissions throughout the range. The V6 model includes a six-speed manual which is unique to the coupe. Honda offers several trim levels, but all include common power equipment. The 2012 model year is the last for this body style.
