The Elantra line also includes a 5-door wagon. Although the exterior styling bears little resemblance to the Elantra sedan sold in the US, the interior should look familiar to Hyundai owners. Like the sedan, the Elantra Touring is equipped with 2.0L four-cylinder engine. The Elantra Touring cannot match the sedan's six-speed transmissions or high fuel economy ratings. Although the Elantra touring offers a healthy list of standard equipment, its competitiveness is somewhat limited by its antiquated four-speed automatic transmission. The 2012 model year is the last for this body style. A new five-door model that more closely matches the capabilities of the sedan is due for 2013.
