Land Rover has redesigned the Range Rover for the 2013 model year. The new fourth-generation model is slightly longer in length and wheelbase. It also loses a little over an inch in overall height. The restyled body is sleeker, but unmistakable as a Range Rover. Heavy use of aluminum in the body structure has reduced the weight of the US model by some 700 lbs. The Range Rover retains its 5.0l V8 engine which is rated at 375-bhp. An eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive are standard on all models.
