The second model from Tesla Motors will be a sedan. Like the roadster, the sedan will be a pure electric vehicle with an estimated range of 160-300 miles. The Model S is priced at $57,400 but qualifies for a $7,500 tax credit. The entry level model has a smaller battery with an expected range of 160 miles. To increase the range of the vehicle, buyers must choose pricier models.
