The Yaris is the smallest and least expensive car sold in the United States as a Toyota. Two body styles are offered: a 3-door hatchback and a 5-door hatchback. The two models are nearly identical except for the two extra doors. A 1.5l four-cylinder engine produces 106 horsepower and is rated at 30/35 (city/highway) by the EPA. The base L trim level includes power door locks, air conditioning, and power windows but omits remote keyless entry. The LE trim level adds these features in addition to an upgraded audio system. The SE trim level (5-door only) adds alloy wheels, a unique grille mesh, and a rear spoiler for an upgraded appearance. In this rapidly expanding segment there are comparably priced alternatives with better fuel economy, more standard equipment and disc brakes.
