As the classic American sports car, the Corvette is power and style personified. The Corvette entered its seventh generation for the 2014 model year with all new styling and the return of the Stingray name. Offered in coupe and convertible models, for 2014, the standard powertrain is a 455-bhp 6.2l V8 paired with either a six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmission. Higher performance trim levels like the Z06 will return for the 2015 model year.
