The seventh generation BMW 7-series debuts for the 2023 model year. Longer, wider and taller than the model it replaced; the initial model range includes a diverse set of powertrains. The 740i is powered by a turbocharged inline six-cylinder whereas the 760i xDrive is equipped with a turbocharged 8-cylinder engine. Both engines use mild hybrid technology for a small bump in power and efficiency. Interior updates include a more upscale interior and an optional drop-down widescreen entertainment system in the rear seat.
