The all-new E-Class Cabriolet effectively replaces the smaller CLK cabriolet as the only four-passenger convertible in the Mercedes-Benz lineup. Two models are offered: The E350, which is powered by a 268-bhp V6 and the E550, which is powered by a 382-bhp V8. A seven-speed transmission and rear-wheel-drive are standard on both. The convertible is a power-operated soft top.
The SLS AMG is a new supercar entry from Mercedes-Benz. The exterior styling evokes the classic 300SL with its gull-wing doors and long hood. A hand-build 6.2l V8 and seven-speed dual clutch transmission power the rear wheels.
The CL-Class is restyled. Exterior changes include a new hood, fenders and grille and integrated exhaust pipes. The CL550 now includes a new 4.6l V8 engine and the CL63 now equips a new turbocharged 5.5l V8. Both engines are smaller, yet more powerful and fuel efficient than their predecessors.
