- 2012 Toyota Camry
- The seventh generation Camry wears all-new exterior and interior styling. Compared to the previous model, the new Camry is identical in size on the exterior and slightly larger on the inside. The standard 2.5l four-cylinder engine is rated at 178-bhp, and the optional 3.5l V6 produces 268-bhp. The power on the hybrid model's gasoline engine increases to 156-bhp. Fuel economy is improved on all models and most models are priced at or below the sixth generation model.

- The all-new Prius C is a more compact dedicated hybrid model sized between the Yaris and the Prius. The Prius C pairs a 1.5l four-cylinder with an electric motor to improve fuel efficiency.
- 2012 Toyota Prius v
- The Prius v is a new model that combines the high-mileage hybrid powertrain of the Prius with a larger wagon body for additional utility. Compared to the Prius, the Prius v is longer by 6 inches, taller by 3.3 inches and wider by 1 inch. Like the Prius, the hybrid drive system contains a 1.8l four cylinder gas engine, an 80-hp electric motor and a nickel-metal hydride battery pack.

- A new Yaris debuts for 2012. The Yaris 3-door and 5-door hatchbacks continue, but the sedan has been dropped. In profile, the styling is similar to the prior model, but the front and rear styling are more aggressive. Compared to the prior model, the new Yaris is 2-3 inches longer in length and wheelbase, but virtually identical in every other dimension. Passenger volume and cargo volume are up slightly. Powertrain choices are identical. All models equip a 1.5 four-cylinder engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.

- The long awaited plug-in version of the Prius arrives for the 2012 model year. The Prius Plug-in equips a larger Lithium-ion battery that can be recharged in 3 hours at 120V.
