- 2005 Ford Escape Hybrid
- The Hybrid Escape is the first gasoline/electric hybrid vehicle to reach the market. The hybrid system marries a 2.3L four cylinder to an electric motor and a generator/control system that can start and stop the gasoline engine as it is needed.
- 2005 Ford Five Hundred
- New large-midsize sedan model for Ford that effectively replaces the Taurus. Five Hundred is based on a platform derived from Volvo. Both FWD and AWD versions are offered. A continuously variable transmission is standard, with a 6-speed automatic an option. The Five Hundred is produced in Chicago alongside the Freestyle, the Mercury Montego and an upcoming Mercury version of the Freestyle.
- 2005 Ford Freestyle
- New crossover vehicle from Ford. The tall wagon features three rows of seating. Both FWD and AWD versions are offered. A 207hp V6 and continuously variable transmission are the only powertrain offered. Freestyle is made in Chicago.
- 2005 Ford GT
- A limited production halo car. An all-aluminum skin is wrapped around an all aluminum space frame and all-aluminum double wishbone suspension. A 5.4L V8 provides 500hp to the rear wheels.
- 2005 Ford Mustang
- The Mustang coupe is all-new for 2005. The wheelbase is 6-inches longer. Power is supplied to the rear wheels by either a 200hp V6 in the base model or a 300hp V8 in the GT models.
- 2005 Ford Mustang Convertible
- The Mustang convertible is all-new for 2005. Mustang sits on an all-new platform with a 6-inch longer wheelbase but retains its solid rear axle. Power is supplied to the rear wheels by either a 200hp V6 in the base model or a 300hp V8 in the GT models.
